   Location and Hours

​

                    The Clinic is located in the First Presbyterian Church near the center of Coldwater at

corner of Marshall Street and Church Street.  Mailing address is 15 Church Street, Coldwater, MI 49036.

Please use the North door to enter the Clinic.  Our Clinic hours are every Thursday from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm except for holidays or special circumstances.

    History

​

              The clinic was organized by members of the First Presbyterian Church to meet

           the needs of the uninsured and underinsured in the Branch County area.    The

           Clinic opened January of 2002.  There were seven patients that came for services but

           the patients seeking needed services quickly increased.  The Clinic has had over 35,000

           patient visits since 2002.                  

 

 

   Mission Statement

 

“The Presbyterian Health Clinic of Branch County welcomes in the spirit of Christ all people of Branch County, who lack access to insurance coverage or resources for providing treatment, health education or referral.”

 

The Clinic is a mission of the First Presbyterian Church.

 

   Board Members

 

               The Board of Directors meets on a regular basis to set goals and review the

funding and budget. The Board consists of a Board Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Clinic Director, Clinic Medical Director, Treasurer/Secretary, Grant Coordinator and members at large.  We use a volunteer accountant and attorney to oversee our taxes and state and federal requirements.

 

   FCOM

 

Our Clinic is a member of the Free Clinics of Michigan.  The FCOM is our state organization that advocates for the 52-member clinic. The FCOM meets annually to share information and receive updates.
